About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for the McCall's Barracks construction project dated 25 August. The project involves building barracks and related facilities, with key details including construction flexibility (stick-framed or modular construction is allowed), engineering requirements, and specific technical specifications. Critical points include: a 365-calendar day base contract period with potential option for an additional 365 days, engineering stamp requirements limited to pre-fabricated buildings and foundations, and an Idaho-licensed engineer mandate. Contractors must provide a Delegated Design Submission for modular bunkhouses, covering building envelope, structure, foundations, fire protection, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems. Additional requirements include radon mitigation system design/installation, ADA compliance for specific buildings, and state inspections for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
