About this file
This is a Question and Answer document for federal contract opportunity 1240LN26Q0003 regarding a Water Treatment Facility project. The document does not address required products or services in detail, but rather clarifies scope, scheduling, and procedural requirements for bidders.
Key project requirements include: completion by September 30, 2026 (firm deadline); normal work hours Monday-Friday, 0700-1800 with no weekend, holiday, or after-hours work without prior written approval; one virtual pre-work meeting required prior to construction commencement with on-site meetings available upon contractor request; temporary system shutdown anticipated with contractor responsible for determining duration; and contractor responsibility for providing water supply to crew during system relocation. The 6,000-gallon water storage tank is existing but requires scope work per Specification Section 223050, Part 3.5 and electrical one-line diagram; tie-in of new water treatment facility water connects to existing water main as shown on drawing C1.0, not the storage tank.
