12405B23R0019 – Amendment 06 – USDA Requirements

1. All main water lines will be 12 inch.

2. All feeder lines less than 50 feet will remain 2 inch. Over 50 feet will be 3 inch until turn up to AGL then 2 inch after the turn.

3. At well 3 approximately 20 to 30 feet from wellhead down the water line will need a tap on the side of the 12 inch line for ½ PVC sch 80 or larger up to 1 inch and will run to the control panel near the pump panel. Refer to drawing for reference. The pressure sensor will be provided by the system integrator.

4. At the tank where the new line is run, a tap on the 12 inch line for ½ inch PVC sch 80 or larger up to 1 inch. It will run to the well house and will come up the wall near the other water line and you will drill a hole in the wall and take inside. Refer to drawing for reference inside building. The pressure sensor will be provided by the system integrator.

5. The pump cabinet will have VFD that has been derated to handle 122 deg F. at full motor current. If full motor current is 162 amps or less, then the ABB drive ACH580-01-180-4 will handle 122 deg F. If full motor current is more than 162 amps then the next size up will be needed to maintain 122 deg F. rating.

6. The heatsink will be out the back of cabinet.

7. A 4 inch fan with heater will be in pump cabinet to help with cooling and heating.

8. A 40 to 50 deg F thermostat switch will be used to turn the heater off and on.

9. The concrete pad with the Unistrut racks shall be positioned for the cabinet doors to face north. Place ground rods as shown on drawing.

10. The system integrator will provide the control cabinet and do all programing as needed for a system to control tank level and be able to control pressure when needed for tank maintenance.

11. New towers will be place at well 3 and well 1 pump house. 60 foot towers 25SS040 Rohn tower plus 4 25G 10 foot sections Tessco PN 586787. The system integrator will assist the contractor in setting the towers including grounding and commutation of the towers at both sites. Antennas and antenna cables will be provided by the system integrator. Two 1 inch PVC conduit will be ran up the towers on the inside and left open on both ends.

12. Well 3 will use the following “DELTA” surge unit SSP05EMA32. A power disconnect and the surge unit will be mounted in a weather proof box.

13. Power will come from the pole as 4 wire “WYE” but the neutral will stop in the main disconnect.

14. Main grounds will be 2/0 bare copper and all connections except inside cabinet and top of towers will be cad welded. All ground rods will be 10 foot copper.

15. Control cabinet will need 1 ea. 120 v ac 20 amp UL489 circuit breaker.
