About this file

This is Amendment 001 to a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the Dave Wood Designated Harvest and Preparation (DxP) Stewardship Contracting project on the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre, and Gunnison National Forest. The amendment was issued by the USDA Forest Service Stewardship Contracting Branch on May 28, 2026, with an effective date of May 28, 2026, and adds site visit notes conducted on May 27, 2026, to the solicitation. The original solicitation number is 12363N26Q4098. The period of performance for this Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) stewardship contract runs from June 17, 2026, to June 16, 2027. The deadline for receipt of quotes remains unchanged from the original solicitation. The amendment indicates that landings are not predesignated and will be agreed upon per Appendix A and Appendix B Section 6.422; award will be based on best overall value under FAR 52.212-2 rather than lowest price, with technical evaluation factors approximately equal to cost or price; and skid trail spacing shall be agreed upon prior to construction and must comply with workmanlike standards without exceeding efficiency needs.
