About this file
This document is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act issued by the U.S. Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division for Wisconsin counties (Columbia, Dane, Green, and Iowa).
The wage determination (No. 2015-4897, Revision 31, dated May 13, 2026) establishes prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits for service contract work in the specified geographic area. It lists over 200 occupation classifications spanning administrative, clerical, automotive service, food preparation, furniture maintenance, general services, health occupations, information technology, instructional, laundry, machine tool operation, materials handling, mechanics and maintenance, personal needs, plant and system operations, protective services, recreation, stevedoring, technical, transportation, and miscellaneous occupational categories. Each occupation includes a specific hourly rate. All listed occupations receive health and welfare benefits of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours per week, equaling $222.00 weekly or $962.00 monthly) or, under Executive Order 13786, $5.89 per hour ($283.60 weekly or $882.27 monthly). Additional benefits include two weeks paid vacation after one year of service, three weeks after five years, and four weeks after 15 years; a minimum of eleven paid holidays annually; and hazardous duty differentials of 8 percent or 4 percent based on job hazard levels. The determination specifies that conformance requests for unlisted occupations must follow established procedures under 29 CFR 4.6(b)(2)(i), requiring contractor submission and Wage and Hour Division approval before implementation.
