12. On AD-101 the architectural drawings show that there are (3) ”Existing freezers to remain, protect during construction”, and on and A-101, (3) “Existing freezers to remain”. These freezers are in the way of completing new wall framing as well as resinous floor systems. If they are relocated, is this something the Owner wants to coordinate relocation or storage for or the Contractor?
a. ANSWER: The freezers are in use and need to remain in operation and in the same general area.
13. Door 103 has designated a 2” metal frame identified in the plans at Corridor P101. The door head detail 6/A-201 shows the corridor wall as being an existing 8” CMU wall. a. ANSWER: See Attachment 12 Painting Specification Section 09 90 00
16. Please confirm if data lines at 7/8” wall furring requires a conduit pathway or not.
a. ANSWER: Conduit not required. Recommendation would be to either use a low voltage mounting bracket and let the cables be loose behind the wall and possibly utilizing an angled connector plate to help with the cable bend.
