Question #SubjectQuestionGov Answer
SlidesSometimes the font chosen for the slides, although legible when projected on a large screen, can be too small when viewed on a computer screen. Or the captions that are created cover up text on the slide. This requires splitting one slide into 2 so that all the information can be presented. If this scenario occurs in this project, who is responsible for creating the new slide?NAL/AWIC (i.e., we) will make that change or ask the presenter to make the change.
Average length of the presentationsWhat is the average length of the presentations that will be provided?30 - 45 minutes
Slide InsertionFor our clients we film the presentations and have a technique for noting when each slide is to appear. Not having done the filming for your presentations, is it indicated on the transcripts where each slide is to appear on the screen?I do not think so… we record in Zoom and then the transcript is generated separately from Zoom and I don't think that level of detail is provided.
Transcript & time codeWill the transcript have time code which corresponds to the video?Yes
Receipt of the videoHow will we receive the video? On a hard drive?no - likely over Google Drive or One Drive or some other electronic platform
Previous VideosWe reviewed the video/slide presentations examples. A few had video introductions from the seminar, some had picture in picture (presenter and slides), and some had voice over only. Is there a format that you expect for these future presentations? No - this can vary like it has in the past. We'll work with what we have at the time. The important part is seeing the slides and capturing the audio of the presenter (however, it's bonus/ideal if we can show the presenter video AND the slides at the same time).
Audio descriptionWe are assuming that audio description is not required for this project. Correct? What is meant by 'audio description'? If you mean like visuals or images on the screen/slide, then correct, that is not needed.
