About this file
This document is a Solicitation Addendum One for the State of Nebraska's Vehicle Market Basket contract (Solicitation Number 122380 O8), covering vehicle procurement from Ford, General Motors, Stellantis, and Toyota. The solicitation was released on July 3, 2025, with bid responses due on July 25, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Central Time. The addendum addresses two specific vendor questions regarding future solicitations and OEM roadside assistance kit specifications. The state clarified that no additional 2026 model year market basket solicitations will be released, and vendors should use the cost sheet's additional line for unlisted manufacturer models.
The contract allows participation by political subdivisions, cities, and counties, with potential set-aside preferences for Nebraska vendors. Vendors must be authorized to do business in Nebraska and meet Secretary of State registration requirements. The procurement covers a comprehensive range of vehicles including sedans, SUVs, vans, light-duty trucks, heavy-duty trucks, and emergency services vehicles. Bidders are required to provide percentage discounts for models not explicitly listed in the bid documents. The contract will have an initial one-year term with an option to renew, and evaluation criteria will include price, location, quality, delivery time, and vendor qualifications. Drop shipment charges are permitted for locations outside Lincoln, Nebraska, and delivered vehicles must be road-ready and fully equipped.

| Will you be coming out with additional Model Solicitations or requests in the Truck Lineup like in the past? |
Example the Work Trucks in the Silverado 1500s, Double and Crew Cabs along with All of the HD Silverado Series = 2500s and 3500s, Reg, Double and Crew Cabs.
What about Silverado 3500 Series Cab Chassis in Reg, Double and Crew Cab Models?
The state will not be releasing any future solicitations for the 2026 model year market basket.
For any vehicle not listed within the market basket, bidders should utilize the additional line of each section of the cost sheet that reads:
“Provide a standard percentage (%) discount for additional manufacturer models not listed above or that may have not been released at the time of this bid”

| Do you have a specific Manufacturer and part number for the OEM Roadside Assistance Kit requested for the bid? |
There are quite a number of different options with varied pricing. I also haven't been able to source a product that has a carrying case to include a fire extinguisher.
The state has no specific part number to reference.
If the bidder is unable to meet all elements of the specification, the bidder should mark “no and provide alternative” and detail the alternative that is being proposed.
This addendum will be incorporated into the solicitation.
