About this file
This document is a Solicitation Addendum One for the State of Nebraska's Vehicle Market Basket procurement, specifically referencing Solicitation Number 122380 O8. The addendum addresses questions related to a vehicle procurement covering Ford, General Motors, Stellantis, and Toyota vehicles for the 2026 model year, with bid responses due on July 25, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Central Time. The state will not be releasing additional solicitations for this market basket, and vendors are instructed to use the provided percentage discount line for any models not explicitly listed in the original bid documents.
The addendum provides critical clarification on two key vendor questions: first, confirming no future solicitations will be issued for the 2026 model year market basket, and second, addressing a question about OEM Roadside Assistance Kit specifications. The state has not specified a particular manufacturer or part number for the roadside kit, instead instructing bidders to mark "no and provide alternative" if they cannot meet all specification elements. Vendors are encouraged to propose alternatives that best match the state's requirements, with the understanding that the contract allows for flexible pricing and model configurations across multiple manufacturers.

Example the Work Trucks in the Silverado 1500s, Double and Crew Cabs along with All of the HD Silverado Series = 2500s and 3500s, Reg, Double and Crew Cabs.
What about Silverado 3500 Series Cab Chassis in Reg, Double and Crew Cab Models?
The state will not be releasing any future solicitations for the 2026 model year market basket.
For any vehicle not listed within the market basket, bidders should utilize the additional line of each section of the cost sheet that reads:

| Do you have a specific Manufacturer and part number for the OEM Roadside Assistance Kit requested for the bid? |
There are quite a number of different options with varied pricing. I also haven't been able to source a product that has a carrying case to include a fire extinguisher.
The state has no specific part number to reference.
If the bidder is unable to meet all elements of the specification, the bidder should mark “no and provide alternative” and detail the alternative that is being proposed.
This addendum will be incorporated into the solicitation.
