About this file
This is a solicitation addendum issued by the Nebraska Department of Administrative Services State Purchasing Bureau for RFP 120005 O5 regarding Consulting and Actuarial Services. The addendum contains nine questions and answers addressing various aspects of the solicitation, which has a submission deadline of January 6, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. CST. The questions primarily focus on clarifying technical requirements, contract terms, and existing service arrangements.
Key clarifications include that Nebraska is not currently participating in a data warehouse, The Hartford Life insurance contract is being extended to June 2027, and a new STD/LTD contract is being bid for a July 1, 2025 effective date. The State indicates flexibility in negotiating certain terms including liability caps and deliverable ownership, while maintaining firm positions on others such as binding arbitration. The addendum also confirms that the Cost Proposal must be uploaded as a separate document and addresses questions about work stoppages, which are noted as unlikely.
