About this file
This is an Amendment to Original Agreement between Dallas Independent School District and a Service Provider, establishing compliance requirements related to misconduct investigations and reporting under Texas Education Code Section 22A.052. The amendment does not specify particular products or services, response dates, due dates, site visits, bidder meetings, award dates, or contract term, as it applies to an existing original agreement between the parties. Instead, the amendment adds provisions requiring background checks for all employees, subcontractors, and agents who may have direct or indirect contact with students prior to service provision.
The amendment establishes mandatory reporting protocols requiring the Service Provider to notify the District within 24 hours of any allegations of inappropriate interactions with students, including talking, touching, staring, or contributing to a hostile learning environment. The Service Provider must fully cooperate with District investigations, provide requested employee information including social security numbers to enable Texas Education Agency reporting, and immediately remove and prohibit any employee from providing services or entering District property pending investigation outcome. Upon substantiated findings, the Service Provider must provide documentation of employment actions taken for the District's final TEA report. The amendment contains no pricing terms, set-asides, funding information, or financial details, serving solely as a compliance and conduct governance document for the underlying service agreement.
