About this file
This document is a Travel Management Area map for the Conroy Cliff area in the Malheur National Forest for the 2025 hunting season, created jointly by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife. The map details specific motorized vehicle travel restrictions during two distinct periods: October 1-15 and October 26-November 16, 2025. Only roads shown in green, and the adjacent area within 300 feet of those roads, are open to motorized vehicles during these restricted periods. The map covers areas in Harney and Grant Counties, with key management objectives including protecting soils and wildlife habitat, minimizing wildlife harassment, maintaining adequate buck and bull escapement, and promoting quality hunting. The green reflector dot system is used for road designation, with no specific posting of closed roads, and special permits may be issued by the Malheur National Forest for administrative, commercial, law enforcement, or emergency vehicle use on otherwise closed roads.
