1935 SHELTER SYSTEM

The popular 1935 shelter system is known for it’s larger operational footprint which makes the shelter an ideal component of both stand alone operations and large scale interoperable systems. The GK I-1935 shelter system contains the accessories needed to rapidly deploy a fully functioning system complete with wiring and lighting harnesses, work stations, and vestibule connectors for the integration of additional shelters.

With 570 square foot of useable space, The 1935 system can be rapidly deployed in the field to meet any need from staff billeting and ablution to a community outreach and mobile medical initiatives. The system is also popular with FEMA DMAT and US&R teams for it’s quick and easy integration with the Western Shelter systems of other participating response groups at an event.

Available as a shelter only or as a pre-packaged shelter system.

Standard System Features:

• Fast deployment: 45 minutes or less set-up time with 1 trained professional and 3 volunteers.

• 570 sq. ft. of useable floor space at the 6’ head clearance.

• Sealable floors protect the shelter from environmental factors with the capability of positive/negative pressure isolation.

• Lightweight frame, constructed of aircraft aluminum (6063-T5 and 6061-T6).

• Each shelter has the ability to be configured with walls or roof only.

• Interior frame finish allows full access to horizontal support bars which can be utilized to hang up to 50 lbs. of equipment.

• Rigid frame double door gives a large entryway with a door ramp that easily accommodates gurneys and/or wheelchairs.
