About this file
This is a Task Order Template form issued by the Incorporated County of Los Alamos, New Mexico, Department of Public Utilities (DPU) for use in executing task orders under on-call power line contractor services agreements. The template establishes the standardized format and requirements for issuing individual task orders for work to be performed on an as-needed basis, with scope of work and deliverables to be defined by the County Project Manager at the time each task order is requested. Work commences upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed, with requested delivery dates and specific project details to be incorporated into each individual task order document.
The template requires that contractors furnish Payment and Performance Bonds equal to one hundred percent of the task order price for construction work exceeding $25,000, with bond riders required if task order revisions increase the contract price. Task orders exceeding the state prevailing wage threshold are subject to a Wage Decision obtained by the County prior to execution, and contractors must comply with prevailing wage requirements. Task Order Revisions require advance approval from the Contract Manager and authorization through executed documentation, with signature authority levels established as follows: DPU Deputy Manager or Manager for amounts up to $50,000; Utilities Manager for amounts exceeding $50,000; Board of Public Utilities for amounts exceeding $100,000; and County Council for amounts exceeding $300,000. Acceptance of a Task Order Revision constitutes full and mutual accord and satisfaction, with the contractor waiving all rights to file claims related to the revision after proper execution.
