CIP #ST2501 - Cattletrack Road Pedestrian-Drainage Improvements Project Plan Set

This is a comprehensive construction plan set for the Town of Prescott Valley's CIP #ST2501 Cattletrack Road Pedestrian-Drainage Improvements Project, prepared by Lyon Engineering & Surveying, Inc. The project encompasses improvements to Cattletrack Road and Roundup Drive, including the construction of roadway sections, curb and gutter installations, sidewalks and ADA-compliant ramps, storm drainage systems, water infrastructure, fire hydrants, driveway reconstruction, and signage and pavement markings. The project extends approximately 1,950 linear feet along Cattletrack Road from Station 10+00 to Station 28+80, with an additional segment on Roundup Drive. Key quantities include 2,774 cubic yards of earthwork, 1,742 linear feet of curb and gutter, 1,264 square yards of sidewalk, 530 linear feet of storm drain pipe, 244 linear feet of water main installation, and approximately 2,636 square yards of asphalt paving. The plan set contains 28 sheets including removal plans, improvement plans, grading plans, signage and striping plans, and detailed construction specifications with references to Town of Prescott Valley Design and Construction Standards (TDCS), Quad City Standard Details (QCSD), and Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) standards.

The project is funded through a Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from the State of Arizona Department of Housing, with Grant #123-25. Design requirements address FEMA floodplain compliance, with the project located in effective FIRM 04025C1714H and subject to specific drainage and grading standards that maintain historical drainage patterns while improving pedestrian safety through ADA-compliant design. Comprehensive utility coordination is required, including identification and protection of existing water, sewer, gas, fiber optic, and overhead power lines. The plans include detailed erosion control measures, sediment wattle installations, and stabilized construction entrance/exit specifications in compliance with Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) requirements and Arizona Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (AZPDES) General Permit standards. All work must comply with applicable municipal, county, state, and federal regulations, with inspection and acceptance responsibilities assigned to the Town's Engineer of Record. A two-year warranty period is required following final project acceptance.
