I. Introduction.

PCMC owns and operates the Three Kings Water Treatment Plant located at 1884 Three

Kings Drive in Park City, Utah. The facility is located adjacent to the Park City Municipal

Golf Course and is periodically exposed to errant golf balls entering the treatment plant site.

To improve safety and protect critical public utility infrastructure, equipment, vehicles, employees, contractors, and visitors, PCMC intends to construct a permanent protective golf netting system along a portion of the treatment plant perimeter.

The project has received approval of a Conditional Use Permit (“CUP”) and Variance authorizing installation of golf netting up to 50 feet in height above final grade. The approved netting location is approximately 100 linear feet in length along the northeast side of the treatment plant property.

PCMC is seeking proposals from qualified firms with experience in the engineering, fabrication, and installation of golf netting. The selected Respondent will provide all engineering, permitting support, materials, labor, equipment, and construction services necessary to deliver a complete and operational netting system.

Additional project information is provided in the Exhibits attached to this RFP.

II. Scope of Project.

• Preparation of drawings and calculations required for building permit approval.

• Coordination with PCMC during final design.

• Design shall be prepared by or under the direction of a Professional Engineer licensed in the State of Utah.

• Installation shall not unreasonably interfere with ongoing treatment plant operations.

The Respondent shall be responsible for verifying site conditions and dimensions prior to construction. The City has provided supporting project information as Exhibits A through F, including approved entitlement documents, site plans, photographs, utility information, and the City's standard construction agreement. Respondents shall review all exhibits and incorporate the information into their proposals.

Site visits are strongly encouraged. Respondents wishing to visit the project site shall coordinate access with Harrison Holley, Public Utilities Engineer, at harrison.holley@parkcity.gov or (435) 615-5321. Respondents are responsible for familiarizing themselves with site conditions, access constraints, utilities, topography, vegetation, and other factors that may affect design and construction of the project prior to submitting a proposal.
