About this file
This document is insurance instructions provided by the City of Round Rock, Texas, for contractors seeking vehicle wrap services. The instructions detail comprehensive certificate of insurance requirements that bidders must submit, including specifications for general liability insurance with occurrence-type policies preferred, automobile liability coverage for any auto, hired autos, and all owned autos, workers' compensation and employers' liability insurance where applicable, and umbrella coverage as required by written contract in accordance with contract value. The certificate must include complete information regarding the certificate date, producer and insured details, authorized insurers licensed in Texas with assigned NAIC numbers, policy numbers and effective dates, and policy limits. The City of Round Rock must be named as an additional insured on all coverages except professional liability and workers' compensation, with subrogation waivers required across all coverage types.
The document specifies that four mandatory endorsements must be attached to insurance policies: addition of the City of Round Rock as an additional insured, waiver of subrogation, primary and non-contributory coverage, and cancellation notice provisions. Certificates must be signed by an authorized agent and must list the City's name and address. The insured party is required to provide notice of cancellation, non-renewal, or material changes to the City in accordance with the policy endorsement and applicable Texas Insurance Code Section 1811.155. Builder's risk policies are required for construction projects as designated by the City, and professional liability coverage must be provided if required by the City for professional services contracts.
