About this file
This document contains the 2025-2026 school bell times schedule for the Rockwood School District in Missouri, establishing start and dismissal times for elementary, middle, and high schools across multiple campuses. The schedule organizes schools into groups (A, B, and C) with staggered start times to optimize transportation logistics. Elementary schools operate in two groups with start times of either 8:26 a.m. or 9:02 a.m. and dismissal times of either 3:23 p.m. or 3:59 p.m., with early dismissal at either 12:18 p.m. or 12:55 p.m. Middle schools maintain uniform start and dismissal times of 7:40 a.m. to 2:39 p.m., with early dismissal at 7:40 a.m. to 11:32 a.m. High schools begin at 8:21 a.m. and dismiss at 3:17 p.m. on regular days, with late start days at 9:51 a.m. to 3:17 p.m. occurring on eight dates throughout the school year. Zero hour classes begin at 7:20 a.m. Tuesday through Friday at all high schools. The district observes professional development days with no school on October 6, 2025, November 3, 2025, January 16, 2026, and March 13, 2026, with early dismissal and records days on December 19, 2025, and May 22, 2026.
The bell times schedule is designed to accommodate the district's transportation and operational needs while providing consistency in instructional time across the 2025-2026 academic year. This document serves as administrative guidance for school operations, staff scheduling, and parent communication regarding school hours. The staggered grouping system allows the district to maximize the efficiency of its bus fleet and support personnel while maintaining appropriate supervision and instructional quality across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
