About this file

This is a Project Statement prepared by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) for the Alpena Career and Re-Entry Training Center (CRTC) semi-improved strip project. The project involves the development and improvement of a semi-improved airstrip facility at the Alpena CRTC. The statement outlines the scope of work required to bring the airstrip to operational standards, including site preparation, surface treatment, drainage improvements, and associated infrastructure work. The project is identified under contract opportunity 511/263214.JLM and is being undertaken as a capital improvement initiative by the State of Michigan. Specific details regarding response dates, bidder meetings, site visits, contract term, and renewal options are not explicitly detailed in the project statement summary provided.

Pricing terms, set-aside provisions, incumbent contractor information, and detailed funding sources are not specified in the available project statement documentation. The project appears to be a capital construction or improvement undertaking for a state-operated training facility, likely funded through Michigan state appropriations or grants designated for workforce development infrastructure. Additional financial details, procurement procedures, and contracting mechanisms would be contained in the formal solicitation documents accompanying this project statement.
