About this file
This document is a Domestic Partnership Act Certification form for Broward County, Florida, specifically related to a solicitation for Fortinet Hardware, Software, and Subscription Services. The open-end contract is intended for the Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) Division and other Broward County agencies to purchase Fortinet products and services. Vendors are required to submit their responses electronically through BPRO by the specified closing date and time, with a strong recommendation to provide all requested documents to facilitate a comprehensive review. The solicitation encourages vendors to submit questions through BPRO's messaging system by the designated questions due date.
The certification form focuses on domestic partnership benefits for vendors contracting with the county for goods and services exceeding $100,000. Vendors must certify their compliance with Broward County's Domestic Partnership Act, which requires providing benefits to registered domestic partners equivalent to those offered to employees' spouses. The form provides multiple compliance options, including current compliance, future compliance, or exemption based on specific criteria such as number of employees, type of organization, or potential legal conflicts. Vendors must complete and sign the form, with failure to do so potentially resulting in being deemed non-responsive to the solicitation or ineligible for the domestic partnership tiebreaker provision.
