About this file
The document is a Domestic Partnership Act Certification form for Broward County, Florida, addressing vendor requirements for contracts exceeding $100,000. The certification mandates that vendors either currently provide or commit to providing benefits to registered domestic partners equivalent to those offered to employee spouses. Vendors must submit this completed form with their bid, with potential responsiveness implications for failing to do so within the specified timeframe.
The certification form outlines several exemption categories for vendors, including those with fewer than five employees, religious organizations, governmental entities, and organizations that cannot comply due to federal or state law constraints. The document is specifically tied to a related contract opportunity for paper and envelopes, issued by Broward County's Office of Public Communications and Office of Economic and Small Business Development. Vendors must submit their responses electronically through BPRO, with an emphasis on timely and proper submission, and are encouraged to submit questions through the designated platform prior to the specified due date.
