About this file
This file is a Public Contract Boycott Restriction Statement (Attachment B) issued by the Jordan School District in Utah, revised September 10, 2024, applicable to the Columbia Elementary School Roof Replacement project. The statement requires all vendors contracting with the District to certify compliance with Utah Code 63G-27 (S.B. 97) regarding public contract boycott restrictions. Vendors must confirm they are not currently engaged in an "economic boycott" or "boycott of the State of Israel" as defined in the statute, and must agree to maintain compliance throughout the contract term if awarded. The form includes signature lines for the contractor to acknowledge and execute the certification, with spaces for solicitation name and number, company name, printed name, and date.
The statement specifies prohibited boycott categories, including boycotts of the State of Israel, companies engaged in traditional energy, mining, or agriculture, firearm manufacturers or distributors, companies failing to meet environmental standards beyond applicable regulations, and companies not providing access to abortion or sex characteristic surgeries. Vendors actively engaged in such boycotts must immediately notify the public entity in writing. This certification requirement applies to all goods, services, supplies, information technology, and construction services provided to the District under the roof replacement contract, with no exceptions noted in the document.

ATTACHMENT B
Public Contract Boycott Restriction Statement
In accordance with Utah Code 63G-27 (S.B. 97) Public Contract Boycott Restrictions, vendors contracting with the Jordan School District to provide any good or service, including supplies, information technology, or construction services, must certify they are not currently engaged in an “economic boycott” nor a “boycott of the State of Israel” as those terms are defined in that Code section. Vendors must also agree not to engage in either boycott for the duration of the contract (if awarded). For example, a vendor may not, without an ordinary business purpose, boycott: the State of Israel; companies engaged in activities related to traditional energy, mining, or agriculture; companies engaged in the manufacture, distribution, sale, or use of firearms; companies that do not meet environmental standards beyond applicable state and federal laws; or companies that do not facilitate access to abortion or sex characteristic surgeries. If a vendor does engage in such a boycott, it must immediately notify the public entity party to the contract in writing.
We agree to comply with the above statement during the entire contract period.
