The document is an Affidavit of Compliance with House Bill 2488, specifically pertaining to the State of Arizona, which requires suppliers to certify they do not use forced labor of ethnic Uyghurs in the People's Republic of China. The affidavit is a mandatory certification for public entities entering or renewing contracts, requiring suppliers to confirm they are not and will not engage with suppliers, contractors, or sub-contractors utilizing forced labor of ethnic Uyghurs in China.
The affidavit provides a standard certification template where contractors/vendors must sign and date the document, affirming compliance with the Arizona legislative requirement. The certification is designed to be a blanket statement applicable across various types of contracts and procurement opportunities.
