About this file
This file contains procurement portal instructions for the City of Charlotte, North Carolina, regarding submission procedures for solicitations including the Citywide On-Call Fencing Installation and Repair Services contract. The City requires vendors to submit all solicitation questions electronically through the Bonfire procurement portal at https://charlottenc.bonfirehub.com via the Vendor Discussions section. All submissions must be uploaded, submitted, and finalized prior to the posted project due date, with the City recommending that vendors allow at least one week prior to the deadline to complete the submission process. The portal is accessible through Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox with Javascript and browser cookies enabled.
Technical support for portal access is available through Bonfire's help forum, email at Support@GoBonfire.com, or by telephone at 1-800-354-8010. Vendors are directed to a five-minute training video on Bonfire's support website for guidance on vendor registration and submission procedures. The document emphasizes allowing adequate time for uploading large documents, as file transfer duration depends on document size and internet connection speed.
