About this file
This document contains procurement portal instructions for the City of Charlotte, North Carolina, regarding the submission of bids and vendor questions for a Guardrail Installation and Repair Services contract. The City of Charlotte is soliciting qualified vendors to provide guardrail installation and repair services for various roads throughout the city on an as-needed basis. The scope of work includes maintenance and repair of guardrail at multiple locations as designated by the City Engineer or designee, with contractors required to replace all necessary guardrail components and stabilize appurtenances at designated sites. The contract will account for varying amounts of existing or damaged guardrail on each route.
All vendor submissions and solicitation questions must be submitted electronically through the City of Charlotte's Bonfire procurement portal at https://charlottenc.bonfirehub.com. Vendors are required to upload, submit, and finalize their bids prior to the posted project due date, with the City recommending submission at least one week before the deadline to allow adequate time for document uploads. The portal is compatible with Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox, with JavaScript and browser cookies enabled. Technical support is available through Bonfire's vendor support forum, email at Support@GoBonfire.com, or by telephone at 1-800-354-8010. The document does not specify pricing terms, contract duration, renewal options, or award dates.
