About this file

The City seeks as-needed mechanical engineering design services for maintenance and minor renovation projects across its portfolio of 200+ municipal facilities, including office buildings, warehouses, storage facilities, parking structures, vehicle maintenance shops, communication towers, and public safety buildings. Typical services encompass HVAC system design and installation, including air- and water-cooled chillers, split and unitary systems, heat pumps, and geothermal systems, as well as plumbing expertise for hot water and chilled water distribution. Additional services may include smaller renovation projects such as sink and water fountain additions, investigation and scoping studies for mechanical systems, and energy efficiency design aligned with the City's Sustainable Facilities Policy. The consultant may be required to provide emergency services on short notice with tight time schedules. All solicitation questions must be submitted electronically through the Vendor Discussions section of the Bonfire procurement portal at https://charlottenc.bonfirehub.com.

All submissions must be uploaded, submitted, and finalized through the Bonfire procurement portal at https://charlottenc.bonfirehub.com/opportunities prior to the posted due date.
