About this file
This document provides procurement portal instructions for the City of Charlotte, North Carolina, in connection with a Water Mitigation and Emergency Clean-Up Services contract opportunity. The City of Charlotte maintains approximately 180 buildings across its organization, including municipal offices, fire stations, police division offices, equipment shops, and cultural facilities such as museums and arenas. The contract requires vendors to provide emergency mitigation and clean-up services on a per-incident basis for water and/or smoke damage at various City locations, including facilities operated by the Charlotte Airport and Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS). Services shall include rapid response for containment, demolition, disposal, drying, cleaning, and decontamination performed in accordance with IICRC standards and RIA guidelines. Vendors must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision as directed by the City's Project Manager. Specific response dates, due dates, site visits, bidder conferences, award dates, and contract terms are not specified in this instruction document.
All solicitation questions must be submitted electronically through the Vendor Discussions section of the Bonfire procurement portal at https://charlottenc.bonfirehub.com. Vendors must submit all bid materials electronically via the same portal prior to the posted project deadline, with the City recommending submissions be completed at least one week before the deadline to allow adequate time for uploading and finalization. The portal is compatible with Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox browsers, and requires JavaScript and browser cookies to be enabled. Technical support is available through Bonfire's help forum, email at Support@GoBonfire.com, or telephone at 1-800-354-8010. Pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent information, funding amounts, and other financial details are not included in this instruction document.
