About this file

This addendum provides clarification for a solicitation seeking materials and labor for the construction of a new water well at Luke Air Force Base. The scope of work involves two phases, with Phase 1 covering drilling and installation of the well casing to be performed with assistance from the Arizona Army National Guard, and Phase 2 encompassing well testing to be undertaken by the contractor providing all necessary materials, labor, and equipment. Specific clarifications include removing copper piping from the list of required materials, deleting 640 feet of cable from the statement of work, and adding a contingency for hourly welder services during well casing installation. The contractor is expected to consult with the Guard as needed and have a technical representative available 24 hours a day during Phase 1. Projected well flows are estimated between 320 and 400 gallons per minute at a pumping level depth of around 538 feet below ground surface, with actual pump placement to be determined through testing.
