About this file
This document is Addendum #1 for Invitation to Bid (ITB) #ODFW-735-051-25, issued by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) in collaboration with the United States Forest Service for the GNA 1610-500 Road Drainage Improvement project. The addendum modifies the original ITB, providing updates to specified work at mile posts 4.64 and 4.95, including constructing drain dips, placing riprap, and replacing culverts. The ITB closing date remains unchanged at July 31, 2025, at 2:00 PM PST. Key clarifications from the pre-bid conference include that the winning contractor will be responsible for road maintenance in the work area, must coordinate road access with the Timber Sale Contractor, and will leave felled trees on-site.
The addendum notes that no bonds are requested for the project and that the Divide pit is not closed for turtles. The sourcing of crushed aggregate has been changed from Three Cabin quarry to Divide quarry, and several Tiller maps have been removed. The document specifies that this addendum constitutes a material change to the solicitation and must be acknowledged in Attachment A of the ITB. The project appears to focus on improving road drainage to protect spawning habitat for Oregon Coastal Coho and Winter Steelhead by minimizing sediment loading into Section Creek and reducing road failure risks during extreme weather events.
