Summarize the structural loads for the exhibit structure (dead, lateral, and others as applicable)

The required lateral loads are (non-concurrent):

5 pounds/square foot over the vertical surfaces (code minimum interior partition loads)

200 pounds concentrated lateral load applied 3.5 feet above the finished floor

OR 50 pounds / foot linear lateral load applied 3.5 feet above the finished floor

Summarize the overall structural components and the load paths for gravity and lateral loads.

Provide preliminary calculations evaluating the loads imparted by the exhibit on the existing structure and an evaluation of the existing structure’s capacity to support the applied loads. It is acceptable to equate concentrated or linear loads to equivalent uniform pressures for comparison to the original design live loads if reasonable assumptions are made for the tributary areas that support the concentrated loads. All assumptions must be clearly stated.

The minimum live load for the floor adjacent to the exhibit is 100 pounds / square foot. (Code required load for assembly areas).
