About this file
This Addendum No. 1, dated March 25, 2026, modifies the construction specifications for the Bay Arenac ISD Dining Room Addition and Interior Renovations project located in Bay City, Michigan. The project, managed by TSSF Architects, Inc., involves the construction of a new dining room addition with associated interior renovations to an existing school facility. Key specification changes include: designation of the project as a prevailing wage project (not Davis-Bacon), deletion of the lighting allowance with fixtures now specified in revised electrical drawings, specification of 60 mil EPDM roofing membrane with Versico Systems as an accepted provider, World Dryer Sanitize + Dry hand dryers in Two-Tone White Color with dedicated 15-amp circuits, revised electrical sheets (E1.0, E1.1, and E2.0) reflecting updated light fixture schedules, and newly issued fire suppression specifications sheet (FS1). The addendum includes comprehensive prevailing wage rate schedules for Michigan-funded projects across multiple classifications including laborers, power equipment operators, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and various other skilled trades, with rates effective between October 28, 2025, and November 5, 2025. Wage rates are provided for journeymen and apprentices at multiple levels, with straight time, time-and-a-half, and double-time compensation specified.
The project requires compliance with Michigan prevailing wage standards across all trade classifications. Electrical work includes installation of hand dryers requiring 120-277V universal supply with 950 watts at 120V and 950W at 208-240V operation on dedicated 15-amp circuits. Fire suppression work must comply with NFPA 13 standards for automatic wet pipe systems throughout new areas, with all piping, valves, and sprinklers UL-listed and installed per code requirements. All electrical components must be UL-FM approved. The fire protection contractor assumes responsibility for hydraulic design, shop drawing submission for authority jurisdiction approval, system testing for time and pressure compliance, coordination with other trades, and provision of six spare heads of each sprinkler type to the owner upon project completion. The renovation encompasses new areas and renovated existing areas with specific attention to code compliance, aesthetic integration, and coordination of plumbing, ductwork, equipment, and clearances per 2023 NEC standards.

1Kills 99.99% of common germs in the drying air and on surfaces exposed to the drying air. Laboratory tests confirm 99.99% e!cacy against Influenza A, SARS-CoV (COVID-19), Norovirus, Rhinovirus (human cold virus), E. coli, Staphylococcus Aureus, Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA), and Enterococcus Faecium. Results project e!cacy against a broad range of illness-causing germs; e!cacy against a di"erent specific germ may be less.
E!cacy is achieved within a few seconds of exposure. As with any e"ective germicidal feature, actual e!cacy is dependent on intensity of exposure and exposure duration.
Tests were performed in ISO/IEC 170125 accredited laboratories by personnel qualified in performing microbiological e!cacy testing to established test standards.
