About this file

The bond guarantees the full and proper maintenance and repair of construction work for a specified period, with the contractor responsible for addressing any defective conditions arising from improper materials, labor, excavation, or backfilling. The contract's estimated construction cost is $1,000,000.00, and the bond provides financial protection for the county and ensures the quality and integrity of the project's infrastructure improvements.

The bond includes provisions that allow for automatic increases with change orders, waives notice requirements for contract modifications, and specifies Collin County, Texas as the venue for any legal actions. The bond serves as a financial guarantee that the contractor will rectify any defects or problems that emerge within the specified maintenance period.
