About this file

This document is a Technical Specifications Exhibit for the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) related to a highway project on OR-140 Warner Highway (State Highway Number 431). The project involves replacing roadside milepost markers along OR-140 from Milepost 0.00 to 65.28, with the contractor responsible for removing existing ground-anchored markers, bundling them, and installing new mile post markers. The project will require coordination with the Project Manager, Ramon Alonso, and must adhere to the 2024 Oregon Standard Specifications for Construction.

The contract specifies that payment for all work is to be included in the bid schedule items, with full compensation covering materials, equipment, labor, and incidentals. The contractor will be paid upon completion of contract work, with no retainage applied. The project includes specific requirements for traffic control, allowing single lane closures daily (Sunday through Saturday) while maintaining a minimum 15-foot horizontal clearance. Contractors must comply with utility notifications, accommodate over-dimension loads, and follow detailed specifications for concrete work, sign installations, and traffic control measures. The project will require a preconstruction conference, and work must commence within 10 working days of receiving the Notice to Proceed.
