About this file

This document is an Exhibit A Specifications for a rock replacement project issued by the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT), detailing a state-funded infrastructure project seeking federal reimbursement. The project involves providing aggregate materials in two specific stockpile locations: 2,400 cubic yards of 3/4"- 0" Shoulder Aggregate to be delivered to the Burns ODOT Maintenance Yard, and 5,800 cubic yards of Stone Embankment Material to be delivered to Buchanan Quarry. The contractor is required to work through a priority list numerically, with strict specifications for material quality, placement, and stockpile characteristics.

The project has a not-to-exceed budget of $249,000, with ODOT making no guarantees of minimum or maximum purchases and reserving the right to increase or decrease requested material quantities. Material acceptance will be determined by visual inspection, with specific grading and quality requirements for both shoulder aggregate and stone embankment material. Contractors must follow precise guidelines for stockpile creation, including maximum height restrictions, side slope angles, and measurement methods. Payment will be calculated on a per cubic yard basis, with provisions for adjusting quantities if delivered materials fall outside the 90-110% specified range.
