About this file
This document is a Notice of Intent to Award from the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) for the North Benton County Communities Pathway project. ODOT has selected David Evans and Associates as the top-ranked firm for negotiations of a contract to provide personal services as specified in the RFP. The project aims to improve access and safety for people walking and biking in the north Benton County region by constructing two bicycle/pedestrian bridges and associated shared-use path segments. The required services include project management, environmental services, utilities coordination, roadway and bridge design, and other related tasks. ODOT anticipates awarding a contract valued between $600,000 to $675,000 with a duration of approximately one year.
The pricing and cost data will be negotiated with the apparent successful proposer, and the resulting contract will utilize a combination of compensation methods, including cost-plus-fixed-fee, fixed-price per deliverable, and time-and-materials. This procurement has a 3% Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goal. Proposers must meet minimum qualifications, including providing information on at least one registered civil engineer and one professional land surveyor who will perform services under the agreement. The evaluation criteria are not explicitly stated in the provided documents.
