UNSPSC 81112008: Cd rom mastering services

UNSPSC 81112008 CD ROM Mastering Services is a Commodity code that in recent state and local procurement activity does not align with its nominal scope. The recent opportunity tagged to this code — the City of Perry, Georgia's RFP 2026-03 for a Public Safety Common Operating Platform — solicits comprehensive software, implementation services, system integrations, training, and support for a unified law enforcement operations platform. This is a software and professional services procurement, not physical media mastering or replication work. The mismatch suggests either a tagging error in the source data or a substantially broadened interpretation of the code's definition that departs from its historical use in state and local procurement.

The Perry Police Department RFP, posted April 17, 2026 with a May 8, 2026 response deadline, requires proposers to demonstrate relevant project experience, deliver a scalable map-based platform integrating cameras, license plate readers, dispatch systems, and officer location data, and provide detailed cost breakdowns separating implementation, annual subscription, integration, training, and optional add-on pricing. The City encourages submissions from MBEs and WBEs but has imposed no set-aside restrictions. No other recent state and local opportunities under this code appear in the available record, limiting visibility into whether CD ROM mastering services procurement activity exists elsewhere or whether this Perry solicitation represents a genuine but isolated data-tagging outlier.
