UNSPSC 76111603: Chimney cleaning

UNSPSC 76111603 Chimney cleaning is a Commodity code, but the recent state and local opportunities posted under this code show no work actually related to chimney cleaning or inspection. The recent solicitations tagged to this code encompass electrical installation and maintenance, irrigation system installation and maintenance, residential exterior rehabilitation, janitorial services, tennis center reconstruction with IT infrastructure, handy-man and facility maintenance, building plan review and inspection, and parks and recreation construction — none of which align with chimney cleaning scope. This mismatch suggests either a cataloging error in the posting system or dormant activity under the nominal code designation.

The geographic spread of opportunities spans Georgia (Columbus Consolidated Government and DeKalb County), California (California Department of Motor Vehicles and Santa Clara County), Arkansas (City of Little Rock), and Texas (ChildCareGroup in Dallas and Navarro Counties). Issuing bodies include municipal governments, county departments, state agencies, and special-purpose organizations. With no meaningful recent activity in chimney cleaning and the solicitations posted under this code addressing unrelated trades, this code shows little relevant procurement activity for a chimney cleaning service firm at this time.
