UNSPSC 44101810: Printer calculator

A calculator with the capability of printing the results of its calculations.

UNSPSC 44101810 Printer calculator, a Commodity code, does not align with the recent state and local procurement activity tagged under it. The three most recent opportunities associated with this code are classroom furniture and supplies (Region 7 Purchasing Cooperative), law enforcement equipment (Sourcewell on behalf of multiple county and state agencies), and city-wide printing and mailing services (City of Madison, Wisconsin) — none of which involve printer calculators or related office equipment. The code shows little relevant recent activity for actual printer calculator procurement at the state and local level.

The mismatch between the code's nominal scope and the opportunities posted under it suggests either cataloging inconsistency in the state and local procurement systems tagging these solicitations or a shift in how the commodity code is being applied. Vendors focused on printer calculator sales should not rely on this code's current posting activity as a reliable indicator of demand. Monitor whether future solicitations correct the tagging or whether printer calculator procurement activity resumes under this code.
