UNSPSC 40142010: Fluoropolymer lined hoses

UNSPSC 40142010 Fluoropolymer lined hoses is a Commodity code covering specialized hoses used in water and wastewater treatment infrastructure, industrial pumping systems, and fire suppression. State and local governments solicit these products primarily through utility departments and public works operations, with recent opportunities showing demand for both replacement hoses and hose-related components to maintain operational reliability at treatment facilities and emergency-response stations. The solicitations reflect procurement of hoses meeting specific performance ratings and construction standards — fire hoses rated at 250 psi, hoses for Watson-Marlow Bredel pump systems, and jet nozzles supporting water-treatment operations.

Issuing bodies include county departments of watershed management and water resources, county fire rescue operations, and countywide purchasing on behalf of multi-facility operations. Recent activity concentrates in Georgia and Florida. Representative opportunities include Fulton County Department of Watershed Management soliciting Watson-Marlow Bredel pump hose parts and replacement components under IFB/GS/DWM/2606-1260240 with bids due July 31, 2026; Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources issuing an Informal Written Quotation for 100 fire hoses, 50 feet in length, 1 inch diameter, 250 psi rating under IWQ 128186 with quotes due May 19, 2026; and Gwinnett County soliciting jet nozzles for purchase and start-up under PE77023NONST2026000000630 with quotes due June 23, 2026.
