About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for a hose assembly component (HOSE, ASSY., BOLSTER-C, 31.15W/2_3/4M. ADAPTERS, Item #2096961) through Dallas County, Texas. This procurement is classified as a purchase order for equipment parts and is being expedited due to urgency considerations. Bidders must submit their responses through the BONFIRE registration system by February 2, 2026, with award decisions based on a combination of price and availability to ensure timely fulfillment. All bids must include item availability information and delivery timelines alongside pricing. Vendors must comply with DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which require FOB Destination shipping with freight costs included in the overall price, Net 30 payment terms, and delivery schedules that are deemed essential to contract performance. Failure to meet specified delivery requirements constitutes grounds for rejection and default termination. Invoices must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and include the purchase order number, item description, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals, with payment issued within 30 days from receipt of invoice or order, whichever is later.
The procurement documentation does not identify any specific set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises, minority-owned businesses, or other restricted vendor categories; however, all bidders must certify compliance with equal opportunity employment requirements, confirm they are not on the Texas Comptroller's foreign terrorist organization list, and attest that neither they nor affiliated companies boycott Israel. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available documentation. The contract will be subject to DART's comprehensive terms and conditions, which include provisions for commercial warranties, inspection and acceptance at destination, risk of loss retained by the seller until delivery and acceptance, and dispute resolution through the contracting officer with appeals available within 30 days under Texas law with venue in Dallas County. The specific budget or award value for this purchase order is not disclosed in the available materials.
