About this opportunity
Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking procurement of hose and sand materials through Purchase Order 2097327, with a solicitation posted on December 31, 2025, and responses due by January 9, 2026. This procurement opportunity requires mandatory Bonfire registration to access complete bidding details and project specifications. Vendors must submit bids reflecting FOB Destination shipping terms, with freight costs fully integrated into the overall pricing structure. The procurement emphasizes strict delivery performance, with time and delivery rates considered essential contract elements, and potential default termination if sellers fail to meet specified delivery schedules. Vendors must submit comprehensive invoices electronically to APInvoices@dart.org, including detailed information such as purchase order number, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. All proposals will be evaluated based on compliance with DART's purchase order terms and conditions, with a particular focus on meeting technical specifications, delivery timelines, and pricing requirements.
The contract opportunity does not explicitly specify set-aside designations or specific restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises. However, vendors must comply with equal opportunity employment provisions and provide certifications regarding non-discrimination and international business practices. Specific vendor qualifications include demonstrating commercial warranties ensuring product merchantability, suitability for intended use, and compliance with all referenced specifications. Sellers must certify they do not boycott Israel and are not listed on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies contracting with Foreign Terrorist Organizations. While specific contract value ranges are not disclosed, the procurement follows standard DART payment terms of Net 30, with invoices processed 30 days from receipt of either the invoice or order, whichever occurs later. The contract additionally prohibits vendor assignment without prior written consent from the Contracting Officer and reserves DART's right to terminate the order for convenience or default, with a structured dispute resolution process in place.
