UNSPSC 11162116: Burlap cloth

UNSPSC 11162116 Burlap cloth (Commodity) does not align with the recent state and local procurement activity posted under this code. The County of Sacramento's March 2026 RFB for vehicle upholstery repair services solicits labor and materials for automotive-grade fabric or vinyl reupholstery work — not burlap cloth or burlap-based products. The mismatch suggests either a coding error in the source data or that the code sees little activity related to its nominal scope. No other recent opportunities appear in the record.

Given the single opportunity posted under this code, and its focus on automotive upholstery labor rather than burlap procurement, this Commodity code shows minimal relevant recent activity for business development targeting state and local burlap purchases. The Sacramento County RFB (2026RFB0013, due March 27, 2026) is listed under cooperative purchasing through the Sacramento County Procurement Alliance (SCOPA), which extends eligibility to other governmental, educational, and non-profit entities; however, the work is upholstery repair services rather than burlap material supply or procurement.
