NIGP 84030: Digital Video Disk (DVD) Television Combinations

NIGP 84030 Digital Video Disk (DVD) Television Combinations is an Item code encompassing consumer and professional-grade television units with integrated DVD players that state and local governments procure for law enforcement facilities, public safety offices, training centers, detention facilities, and administrative spaces. State and local issuing bodies soliciting under this code range from county sheriff's departments and municipal police forces to cooperative purchasing vehicles serving multi-jurisdictional consortia. The work is straightforward procurement of finished equipment rather than installation, integration, or ongoing support services, though cooperative agreements may include warranty and replacement terms.

Sourcewell, the State of Minnesota local government unit and service cooperative, is the dominant recent buyer, issuing RFP #061626 on May 12, 2026 with response due June 16, 2026 to establish a cooperative contracting solution for law enforcement equipment available to thousands of governmental agencies, K-12 school districts, higher education institutions, nonprofit organizations, tribal governments, and public entities throughout the United States and Canada. The solicitation framework encompasses participating counties including Franklin, Grant, Grays Harbor, Chelan, and Yakima County in Washington state, plus numerous other jurisdictions. The cooperative structure allows selected vendors to supply DVD television combinations and related law enforcement equipment across this broad public-sector network under standardized contracting terms, with submissions required exclusively through the Sourcewell Procurement Portal by June 16, 2026 at 3:30 p.m. Central Time.
