NIGP 42072: Mirrors, Glass (Not Auto, Barber, Safety, Security, or Telescope) (Including Parts and Accessories)

NIGP 42072 Mirrors, Glass (Not Auto, Barber, Safety, Security, Or Telescope) (Including Parts And Accessories) is an Item code that does not appear in any recent state or local contract opportunities reviewed. The source material contains no solicitations, RFPs, RFQs, ITBs, or IFBs under this code from state departments, counties, cities, school districts, transit authorities, or special-purpose districts.

The recent opportunities in the source span construction (sprinkler-head replacement and secure-door systems), detention-facility equipment (full-body scanner systems), safety supplies (personal protective equipment), and cooperative law-enforcement procurement — none of which fall within the scope of non-automotive, non-barber, non-safety, non-security mirror or glass products and accessories. Contractors and vendors tracking state and local procurement activity under this code should monitor whether activity emerges over the coming quarters; absence of recent posting may reflect low procurement volume, long contract cycles, or consolidation of purchases under broader commodities or facilities-services codes.
