NIGP 32075: Strapping, Seals, Banding and Tools and Equipment

NIGP 32075 Strapping, Seals, Banding And Tools And Equipment, an Item code, covers safety seals, electrical lock-out devices, and related fastening supplies that state and local governments procure for operational safety and asset management. Recent state and local solicitations under this code show activity ranging from straightforward commodity purchases of specialized seals to broader educational procurement bundles that include strapping and safety equipment as subordinate line items. Issuing bodies include transit authorities, school districts, and other operating agencies seeking these products for workplace safety compliance, equipment maintenance, and instructional purposes. The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) and independent school districts represent the visible buyer base in recent opportunities.

DART posted an IFB on March 31, 2026, for red plastic safety lock-out electrical seals (Purchase Order 2098549) with an April 7, 2026 response deadline, requiring FOB Destination pricing and Net 30 payment terms with delivery timeliness as a critical performance factor. Klein Independent School District in Harris County, Texas issued an RFP (RFP #26-101) on April 17, 2026, for Career Technical Education and Advanced Academics instructional resources due June 5, 2026, which included specialized equipment and safety products across 17 CTE program areas; while the solicitation does not identify an overall budget, the contract carries a one-year initial term with four optional one-year renewals. Geographic activity is limited in the available record to Texas, with additional opportunities likely distributed across other state and local jurisdictions not represented in recent postings.
