About this opportunity

Dallas County's Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Authority is seeking to procure SEAL, PLASTIC, RED, SAFETY LOCK-OUT, ELECTRICAL items through a competitive procurement process. The specific contract opportunity, identified as solicitation 2095925, was posted on October 17, 2025, with proposals due by October 23, 2025. Vendors must complete Bonfire registration to access full bid details and must submit responses through the in-browser BidTable window. The procurement requires vendors to comply with specific freight and delivery terms, including FOB Destination shipping with freight costs included in the overall price. DART emphasizes that delivery timing and rates are critical, with potential rejection and default termination for failure to meet specified delivery parameters. Potential vendors must also understand the payment terms, which are strictly Net 30, and must submit invoices electronically to APInvoices@dart.org with comprehensive documentation including purchase order number, item details, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.

The procurement does not explicitly indicate specific set-aside designations or restrictions on respondent organizations. Vendors must review the attached Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document, which outlines comprehensive contractual requirements including commercial warranty standards, equal opportunity provisions, and certifications regarding business relations. The document suggests DART is exempt from Texas state and local sales taxes and includes provisions for termination for default or convenience. While specific award values are not disclosed, the procurement appears focused on acquiring safety lock-out electrical seals, indicating a specialized equipment purchase. Vendors must be prepared to meet rigorous performance standards, demonstrate product quality, and comply with DART's extensive contractual framework. The procurement process requires detailed documentation, electronic submission, and strict adherence to the outlined terms and conditions, suggesting a methodical and professionally managed procurement approach by Dallas County's transit authority.
