EXPLORATION TECHNOLOGY DEMONSTRATION AND NATIONAL LAB UTILIZATION ENHANCEMENTS BIOSERVE SPACE TECHNOLOGIES (BIOSERVE) SERVICES INCLUDE PROJECT-SPECIFIC INTEGRATION AND OPERATIONS SUPPORT ON AN AS NEEDED BASIS IN RESPONSE TO SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS AS AN ON-CALL IMPLEMENTATION PARTNER TO NASA THAT WILL INCREASE THE EASE, EFFICIENCY, AND EFFECTIVENESS OF SCIENCE INVESTIGATIONS ON BOARD THE ISS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL: PROVIDE TURNKEY SERVICES TO MANAGE AND PERFORM PART OR ALL OF THE WORK NECESSARY (REQUESTED BY NASA) FOR THE SUCCESSFUL INTEGRATION AND ON ORBIT OPERATIONS OF SELECTED EXPERIMENTS ON BOARD THE ISS NATIONAL LAB. WITH THIS SERVICE THE U.S. NATIONAL LAB TEAM AND NASA IN TOTAL SHALL BE ABLE TO LEVERAGE ITS CAPABILITIES AND AVAILABLE FUNDS ALLOWING STATION UTILIZATION CUSTOMERS FROM DIFFERENT FEDERAL AGENCIES TO MORE EASILY PURCHASE PAYLOAD DEVELOPMENT, INTEGRATION, AND OPERATIONS SERVICES FROM BIOSERVE WHERE APPROPRIATE. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE ABLE PROVIDE AND COMPLETE THE MENU OF CAPABILITIES AND SERVICES LISTED IN THE TABLES FOUND IN ATTACHMENT J-1. BIOSERVE SHALL PROVIDE A CAPABILITY WHEN A CAPABILITY IS REQUIRED BY THE GOVERNMENT; NASA WILL REQUEST A PROPOSAL MAXIMUM OF FIVE PAGES FROM BIOSERVE. BIOSERVE SHALL SEEK APPROVAL FROM THE NASA COR TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL IF IT EXCEEDS FIVE PAGES. AFTER THE GOVERNMENT PERFORMS AN EVALUATION OF THE PROPOSAL, ONE OR MORE TASK ORDERS MAY BE ISSUED BY THE GOVERNMENT TO BIOSERVE IN A FORM TO BE DETERMINED JOINTLY. IN BASELINE MISSIONS, SHOULD THE CUSTOMERS PAYLOAD AND MISSION REQUIRE MORE THAT THE HOURS SPECIFIED IN THE LINE ITEM, BIOSERVE SHALL WORK WITH THE CUSTOMER AND CODE OZ TO DEVELOP AN ESTIMATE OF HOURS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE TASK AND MODIFY THE TASK ORDER TO PROVIDE THOSE HOURS.
