The intent of this pre-solicitation synopsis is to request industry comments for Base Operations Support Services Draft RFP: FA4800-17-R-0008 Base Operations Support (BOS) Services located at Fort Eustis, Virginia.The proposed contract will be a single award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract for both Recurring and Non-Recurring work items in support of Base Operations Support (BOS) Services at Fort Eustis VA. The work includes, but is not limited to, providing all management, supervision, labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to provide services for: Building and Structure Maintenance; Surface Area Maintenance; Utility Systems Operation and Maintenance (O&M); HVAC Systems O&M; Dining Facility Maintenance; and Pest Control.The NAICS Code for this procurement is 561210, Facilities Support Services and the annual size standard is $38.5 Million. Added: Nov 14, 2017 3:48 pm The 633rd Contracting Squadron (633 CONS) at Langley AFB, VA is conducting an acquisition for a follow-on contract for Civil Engineering (CE) Base Operations Support (BOS). This solicitation is being issued for non-personal BOS services at Fort Eustis, VA. The contractor is required to provide functional support for Building and Structure Maintenance; Surface Area Maintenance; Utility Systems Operation and Maintenance (O&M); HVAC Systems O&M; Dining Facility Maintenance; and Pest Control.A single firm-fixed price (FFP) IDIQ contract will result from this solicitation. There will be a 28-day transition period scheduled to begin on 1 September 2018 (this date may change depending on the status of the acquisition process). The contract shall consist of a 12-month base period (which includes a 28-day transition period), and will consist of four 1-year option periods, with an optional six (6) month extension period of performance. Questions will be considered at any time prior to, or during, the conference; however, offerors will be asked to confirm verbal questions in writing. Subsequent to the conference, an amendment to the solicitation containing an abstract of the questions and the Government's answers, and a list of attendees, will be made publicly available.The Pre-Proposal Conference/ Industry Day will commence promptly at 13:00 (1:00 p.m.) and end at 1400 (2:00 p.m.). After a short briefing, parties may join the Installation bus tour. Interested participants must follow the instructions below for installation access. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 561210, Facility Support Services, with a corresponding size standard of $38.5M. Interested parties must be registered under NAICS 561210 in SAM (System for Award Management) at www.sam.gov. The Government plans to consider all information submitted in response to this Sources Sought Notice.The 633d Contracting Squadron, Langley AFB VA, is in the process of determining the acquisition strategy to obtain non-personal services for the Fort Eustis Base Operations Support (BOS). For this requirement, the contractor's tasks shall include, but are not limited to, the following: Building and Structure Maintenance; Surface Area Maintenance; Utility Systems Operation and Maintenance (O&M); HVAC Systems O&M; Dining Facility Maintenance; and Pest Control. The contractor is also responsible for all contractor planning, programming, administration, management, and execution necessary to provide specified services.This is not a formal Request for Proposal (RFP), and no contract will result from this notice, nor does it commit the Government to any acquisition for these services.
