About the company
Kaiyuh Services, LLC, an Alaska Native Corporation–owned small disadvantaged business headquartered in Anchorage, Alaska, delivers facilities maintenance, construction, operations and maintenance support, and food services to federal agencies as a prime contractor on 98% of its recent awards, competing predominantly under 8(a) sole-source and small-business set-asides. The vendor is a subsidiary of Gana-A' Yoo, LIMITED, a Native Alaskan enterprise, and leverages its Alaska Native Corporation and Indian small business certifications to anchor federal work.
Kaiyuh's customer base concentrates in water infrastructure and facility operations. The Department of the Interior Bureau of Reclamation accounts for the largest potential-value share (11 awards, $81.2 million), anchored by a $21.8 million single-award 8(a) IDIQ for operation and maintenance of the Yuma Desalting Plant in Arizona, from which five task orders have been issued ranging from $4.9 million to $5.1 million each. The General Services Administration Public Buildings Service National Capital Region, while numerically the largest customer by award count (29 awards), carries lower per-award magnitude ($25.2 million combined across facility renovation and maintenance work at federal buildings in Washington, D.C., including the LBJ Federal Building and Fort Lesley J. McNair). The Department of the Army Corps of Engineers (8 awards, $45.4 million) and the Department of Commerce US Census Bureau (9 awards, $30.3 million) round out the top four customers by potential value. Recent representative work includes a $1.42 million 8(a) sole-source delivery order from Bureau of Reclamation for YDP operations and maintenance through January 2027; a $1.65 million 8(a) sole-source definitive contract from the Coast Guard for mess attendant services at Air Station Barbers Point, Hawaii (March 2025–March 2029); and a $3.27 million 8(a) sole-source definitive contract from Air Force Space Command for office renovation at Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado, with subcontract support from API Group Life Safety USA, John Bowman Inc. (a service-disabled veteran-owned small business), and Encore Electric.
Kaiyuh holds a $25 million multiple-award IDC with the Department of Defense Southwest Region for design-build and maintenance services at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin (FY24–FY29), from which three delivery orders have been issued to date. It also maintains a $500,000 GSA Federal Supply Schedule contract (schedule 47QSMS24D008F, effective June 2024–June 2029) under SIN 561210FAC for Facilities Maintenance and Management, offering four labor categories spanning Project Manager, General Maintenance, Grounds Maintenance, and Janitor roles at rates from $36.59 to $87.26 per hour with no security clearance requirements.
SCI-reported invoicing across the vendor's prime service contracts totaled $29.1 million over FY2022–FY2025, delivered across roughly 45–50 FTEs per fiscal year, with government-paid median hourly rates around $69.26/hr on prime contracts (ranging from $46.75/hr at the 10th percentile to $338.66/hr at the 90th percentile). Across SCI-reportable prime contracts, Kaiyuh subcontracts an average of 20% of contractor hours to 17 named subcontractors, indicating moderate reliance on sub-teams for specialized work such as HVAC, electrical, glass installation, and demolition services. Recent sub awards include operations and maintenance support to Leidos for the United States Antarctic Program (two awards in FY2025).
Award activity has been episodic: six awards in 2022, one in 2023, nine in 2024, three in 2025, and one in 2026. Two awards carrying combined potential value of $6.6 million face ultimate completion within the next twenty-four months, presenting limited near-term recompete exposure. The vendor's capability portfolio is grounded primarily in NAICS 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, 34 awards) and 561210 (Facilities Support Services, 15 awards), with secondary exposure in IT services and civil engineering construction. Gana-A' Yoo, LIMITED, the parent entity, holds additional federal prime awards and contracts with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and General Services Administration, indicating operational scale beyond Kaiyuh's direct footprint.
