About this opportunity
Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners Procurement Department is requesting quotations for Yaskawa pump control systems service and supply of pump controllers under term contract RFQ 26-0051RR/RC, with quotes due July 23, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. Palm Beach County local time. The Small Business Development Program applies, allowing the County to award to a certified small business within ten percent of the lowest responsive, responsible vendor price on non-federally funded portions. A 5% local-vendor preference applies to responsive, responsible vendors with permanent places of business in Palm Beach County or the Glades.
Quoters must register in the County's Vendor Self Service system prior to contract award, including all proposed subcontractors. The resulting contract will establish pricing and terms for supply and service of Yaskawa pump control equipment on a term basis. All quotes must remain firm for ninety days from submission and throughout the contract term.
The County requires completion and execution of Subcontractor/Subconsultant Schedules 1 and 2 with all quotation submissions to be considered responsive, pursuant to Emergency Ordinance 2025-014. Following contract award, Schedules 3, 3(a) where applicable, and 4 must accompany all payment requests. Prime contractors must list all subcontractors and subconsultants with SBE certification status and dollar amounts or percentages of work to be performed.
Quoters must comply with federal, state, and local laws, maintain all required licenses and certifications, and provide compliance certifications regarding debarment, discrimination, drug-free workplace status, and other statutory requirements. The deadline for submitting questions is July 14, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. Palm Beach County local time. Quotations should be directed to Robert Chiego at rchiego@pbc.gov or PUR-Procure-Solicit@pbc.gov. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotes and to waive minor irregularities.
